Four class reward systems you might want to try

Compliment chain

A nice, unsolicited comment from a visitor to the class is important to recognise.

Compliment chain display with notes.

I cut up some strips of sugar paper to make links and pop them in a basket and attach the first link to the ceiling. Every time someone, e.g. the principal, SNA or classroom visitor, gives the class a compliment, we write it on a slip and add it to the chain.

When the chain meets the floor, the whole class gets an agreed reward!

This can also be a handy idea if you are implementing a school wide system as other staff can be actively involved in reinforcing key ideas and messages across classrooms.
