Ding Dong!

One of the simplest ways I’ve found to get immediate attention, is a simple bell!

I love the older style shop bells. It tends to intrigue children.

At the beginning of the year, I teach my class that one bell means freeze and two bells means I have something very important to tell them and that they MUST stop and listen straight away. This could also be used for an emergency too.

If you have a bell, you can also incorporate it into the odd lesson too, for example a whole class Maths game like Skip Counting.

Hopefully you found something new there to try.

Roisin.
