Visualising

Why?
Visualising is a form of inferring and is a very powerful way to construct strong memories. When we visualise, we create pictures in our mind.

How?
Ask students to take a moment after a key passage or theme and to perhaps imagine it as a scene in a movie or as a picture. Remind them that these mental pictures are personal and belong to them and no one else, but they are welcome to share if they wish to do so.

Teachers' Corner

At Folens, we believe that educators sharing insights and experiences with each other is crucial to improving education for all. Teachers’ Corner is edited by teachers, with teachers and for teachers.
