There are lots of other ways you can develop léitheoireacht in class.

You can put up classroom labels as Gaeilge; bord, doras, fuinneog, bosca bruscair... It is really important to have a print-rich environment both in Irish and English.

Books and stories

Make sure your classroom library has some nice Irish titles. Each week I try to read one story as Gaeilge at home time. It’s vital for children to hear Gaeilge outside the Gaeilge lesson.
