Here are some exciting Star Wars-themed activities for your class: \nStar Wars Story Writing\n\nActivity: Have students write their own Star Wars-inspired short stories\, inventing new planets\, characters\, or adventures. Encourage them to be creative with names\, powers\, and conflicts.\nExtension: They can read their stories aloud to the class or turn them into illustrated comic strips.\n\nDesign a Lightsaber\n\nActivity: Ask students to design their own lightsaber. They can colour and decorate their lightsaber\, and write a short explanation of why they chose their design and how their lightsaber reflects their character.\nExtension: Incorporate some science by discussing how light and energy work\, comparing it to lightsabers in the movies.\n\nJedi Mindfulness and Focus\n\nActivity: Teach students about focus and mindfulness\, using the idea of Jedi training. Just like Jedi must focus to use the Force\, students can practice concentration exercises\, like deep breathing or simple mindfulness activities.\nExtension: You can call these moments “Jedi Meditation” to keep the theme going and help students improve their focus during class.\n\nStar Wars Trivia Game\n\nActivity: Organise a fun Star Wars trivia game. Prepare questions about the movies\, characters\, and planets for the class to answer. You could also include questions about how science connects to Star Wars\, like space\, gravity\, and technology.\nExtension: Make it team-based for added excitement and offer small prizes like Star Wars-themed stickers or pencils.
